Info for New Students

Summer 2008

Small Groups

Several small groups will be meeting during the summer.  Small groups provide an opportunity to study the Bible and fellowship with other graduate students in a smaller setting.  Small groups are studying a variety of topis; see the small groups page for the latest information.

Dinner Groups

A dinner group is a group of people (6-10) who meet together for dinner once a week.  Each week a different person in the group hosts and cooks so that everyone cooks once over the summer.  If you don't think you can fit that many people in your abode, it is not uncommon to be able find someone else in your group willing to host for you so that you merely have to cook.  You need not be scheduled to be appearing on the next season of Iron Chef to participate.  The goal is strengthening community and friendships and that is served equally well by grilling some burgers as by making a roulade.

The Grad IV Calendar

Another great way to keep up with Grad IV events is our calendar.  You can view the calendar online, and it is also available in a number of formats here.

Resources

Take a look at the Resources section of the website!  Among other things, you'll find a list of local churches, with Grad IV contacts.
